I wanted to get my daily dose of left wing news this morning, so I flipped to MSNBC. Lo and behold, there is a plain blue screen with whit text that reads “MS-NBC IS NOW ON OUR DIGITAL CABLE LINEUP. PLEASE CALL 303-930-2000 TO UPGRADE TODAY.”
Fuck you. I don’t want to upgrade. I just want to watch cable news, and all you left me is FOX and CNN. I hate Comcast.

Comcast in Johnson City, TN recently changed MSNBC from channel 30 to 185. I called Comcast. They told me that MSNBC had chosen to provide a digital-only format, necessitating the channel change. I wonder if the real reason behind the move though was instead to force customers to pay for a more expensive tier in order to receive MSNBC — channel 30 being available on a less expensive tier.
Could there be political reasons behind the change? Would Comcast move FoxNews, channel 32, like this? I doubt it. Would they prefer you to watch FoxNews instead of MSNBC for some reason? I wouldn’t be surprised.

Comcast must have done the same thing nationally – here in Atlanta it is the same way …. it is obviously political. It is amazing though that many people are stupid enough to believe “Fixed” News. Comcast is a ripoff and we have no other choice where we live…

I have digital but i am pissed the MSNBC signal keeps freezing
now it’s not even working. I hate Comcast the bills are getting higher and higher. I will do research and find a another option other than comcast.
